IMI International Hotel Management Institute Switzerland
 

The major aim of IMI is to prepare well-rounded graduates for employment in hotel, tourism and events management positions worldwide. The institute is located in the well-known tourism destination, the city of Lucerne, Central Switzerland. The courses focus on hotel operational skills, management practice in the tourism and hospitality industry and the skills needed for continued learning in a changing global business environment.

IMI is one of the Swiss Hotel Schools offering a double degree program in which students can enter at different levels. All the undergraduate programs and the MBA from 2011B are validated by Manchester Metropolitan University, one of the top 10 providers of Hospitality Programs in the UK. IMI satisfies the exacting quality assurance standards of the UK Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, and the commitment to continual quality improvement through the development of systems in keeping with ISO and EDUQUA specifications.

Remarks:

  • If student enroll for two-year Diploma program, they need to proceed 4 to 6 months of internships at the lower half of every year within the studies.
  • Form 5/Form 7 students can apply for two-year Diploma program and continues their studies by proceeding to Higher diploma and Degree program.
  • If students do not get IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 173 (computer based), 1 to 6 months of English Program will be provided for them
